"That was the idea of a painting escaping the "concept", yet being permeated by a philosophy, since he would consider philosophy as the utmost creative action, the only thing being able to combine feeling and emotion, ethics and aesthetics. Renzo Bergamo used to preface his pictorial images with considerations or fragmented meditations he would write in the silence of his studio. So, the picture was very often the result of galactic particles or starlight reflecting his particular idea of cosmogony, at the core of which would lie not so much the man, despite his presence, but rather a philosophy."
